William (Will) Upshaw co-founded Formula Elite Academy and Faith Effort ActionWilliam’s passion for inspiring, teaching, and witnessing growth and success in each of his players has been the essential ingredient to the Formula in Formula Elite Academy. Born and raised in Texas, William played basketball in high school and at North Richland Community College. In 2014, after years of successfully pursuing his passion for songwriting, he was offered an opportunity to coach youth basketball. Here, he realized his gift of motivating and helping young men with not only their basketball skills but their confidence and potential. His passion and love for God and his family are what drives him to remain steadfast in his pursuit to pour into our youth so that they can be successful in all areas of their life. William W. Upshaw is married to his muse and business partner, Jayme. They have four sons. He enjoys playing basketball in his free time and spending time with his family.

Jayme Gibson Upshaw is the Founder of Faith, Effort, Action, Inc. and Co-Founder and Director of Operations of Formula Elite Academy. Affectionately known as “Mama J,” she is passionate about nurturing the growth and development of every student-athlete and believes deeply in caring for the whole athlete spiritually, academically, emotionally, and athletically.
FEA was born from Jayme’s lifelong calling to serve and her belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to simply be better. A registered nurse and current Unit Nurse Educator in Labor and Delivery, Jayme brings compassion, excellence, and accountability into every part of the FEA model.
Born and raised in Maryland, Jayme is proud to be on this journey with her partner, William Upshaw. She is the devoted mother of Evan and Aston and loving fur-mom to Kobe.
